Piano City Milano kicked off in 2012 (according to themselves the whole thing started in December 2011 with a thirty pianist marathon).

What Piano City Milano is

Piano City Milano is a celebration of the piano and pianists that takes place for the three days of the penultimate weekend of May with non-stop performancdes and has so for the past 13 years.

During this window of time there are countless piano concerts – both free and paid – in the city’s parks, gardens, appartments, courtyards and more traditional concert venues.

The music spans all genres from electronical, jazz, pop and classical.

Where Piano City takes place

Headquarters are located at the museum GAM at 16, via Palestro (find on map) where you can pick up a program and see concerts in the beautiful gardens behind the museum.

The festival is not located just in the city centre nor just in traditional concert venues, it is literally everywhere for three days: In private homes, on the squares all over the city, in the city’s parks and in the more traditional concert venues. Check for performances here.

Piano City Milano startede officielt i 2012 (Ifølge dem selv started det hele uofficielt i december 2011 med et piannist maraton med 30 deltagere).

Hvad Piano City Milano er

Piano City Milano fejrer klaveret og pianister, den foregår over 3 dage non-stop i den næstsidste weekend i maj , og sådan har det været i de sidste 13 år.

I løbet af de 72 timer, er der utallige klaverkoncerter- både af den gratis slags og mod betaling – i byens parker, haver, lejligheder, gårdhaver og mere traditionelle koncertsale.

Der spilles alle genrer; fra klassisk til jazz henover pop og elektronisk musk.

Hvor Piano City foregår

Under festivalen er hovedkvarteret på museet GAM i via Palestro 16 (find på kort), hvor du kan få oplysninmger, hente et program og se koncerter i den smukke park bag museet.

Festivalen foregår ikke kun i centrum eller i klassiske koncertsale, Der bliver spillet bogstavelig talt overalt i 3 dage I private hjem, på alle byens pladser, i parkerne og i de mere traditionelle koncertsale. Tjek for forestillinger her.
