Good apps for your trip to Milan

Why carry around a guide book when you can have all you need on your smartphone (which, of course, is indispensable).

A classic city-guide full of all the normal tourist attractions and it links text and maps.

After a long break electric scooters are now back on the streets in Milan, watch out for yourself out there in traffic, you can not go over 20 km per hour, and where there are bicycle paths you have to go on them, otherwise you have to ride in the street to the right in the same direction as traffic (!),the scooters are only allowed in the centre of the city. ATM Milano Official App
This is a great app for public transport, it tells you which bus and metro stops are near you, you can plan your trips and you can also use it to find the BikeMi hubs (See the article on public transport).

If you need to call for a taxi and don’t speak Italian the easiest thing is to use the official app myTaxi.

Uber
The world’s most famous ride sharing service is legal in Milan and works fine so if you cannot get a taxi or you have to wait too long this is a good alternative.
